No Bake Vegan Brownie Bites

So today I made pizza for lunch with my friend…at 3 o’clock…but there was spinach on top and the crust was made of oats sooooo I’d say it was healthy(ish). Right? :’) Anyways, now I’m sitting here writing this while the same friend is looking through my high school yearbook because she’s going to be a freshman this year and she wants to see if there’s any hot guys. She just informed me that there’s none. Lol.

Now, these brownie bites are not for the faint of heart – if you don’t like dark chocolate I would advise you to put 1/2-3/4 of the amount of cocoa powder I used. If you’re a dark chocolate junkie like me, then go ahead and add the full amount!

Also, you’ll be seeing a lot more recipes with hemp hearts coming up. “Why?” you ask. Well, you see, I thought this one recipe I was going to make would require a lot of hemp hearts (because I didn’t actually read the recipe yet, just watched the YouTube vid and was like, “Yes! I need to make this!”), so I bought the giant bag instead of the little bag I usually buy. It turned out that the recipe only called for a quarter cup….

Hemp hearts are great, don’t get me wrong, but now I have a giant bag sitting in my kitchen and I feel like I need to use them for something other than sprinkling them on my oatmeal and salads.

If you don’t have an excess of hemp hearts in your pantry like I do, you can definitely sub the hemp hearts for more almond flour/meal in this recipe!

No Bake Vegan Brownie Bites


  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup hemp hearts
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt (VERY IMPORTANT)


  1. Mix all ingredients together and roll into teaspoon size balls. It may not seem like there is enough liquid for the dough to come together, but just keep mixing and it will form a dough. Opt. roll the bites in hemp hearts, cocoa powder, or almond flour. That’s it!
